North coast
The North Coast is the Egyptian North Western gate
stretching across 525 Km on the Mediterranean coast
up to Sallum on the Libyan boarder. With miles of
white sand beaches and azure sea. Egypt's Med is
extremely popular during the summer season. In
recent years many beach resorts have been built all
along the coast from Alexandria to Mersa Matrouh
with the most popular being Agami and Marina.
Agami
Known as the Egyptian St-Tropez. Agami was
traditionally an exclusive resort where elite
Cairoans and Alexandrians vacated. Today it also
caters to the middle classes and is very popular
with the uber trendy young during the summer months.
Most will stay at their own abode or rent a flat.
Hotel options are few.
